Which length fits your tank?

This full spectrum aquarium light is 12 cm wide and comes in 30, 45 and 60 cm, so choose the length that spans your tank from 30 to 60 cm wide. A bar close to the full width gives the most even coverage; one that is much shorter leaves dim corners where plants stretch. At 24W with an aluminium body it handles a planted tank that a small clamp lamp cannot light properly.

Care

Wipe the lens with a soft damp cloth and dry the bar before repositioning it. The IP68 rating covers splashes, but keep the driver and cable clear of water regardless, and unplug everything before maintenance. Because the unit runs to a schedule, check it occasionally against the time you actually want the lights on.
